    3200 is where it makes maximum power it shouldnt go faster as its falling off the torque curve rapidly at those RPMS....

    I dont have the spec sheet for the engine in the EMEI that I have (that IVe found)

    No worries. My (civvie 4BD1(T)) will do 100 km/h in 3rd (LT85). That means it hits at least 3400 (depending on speedo accuracy). Now it has a turbo it pulls hard all the way to the governor.

    I'm sure I remember someone saying theirs is governed at 3600.

    the T is a different beast with a different torque plate and internal govener adjustment.

    Mine is an NA engine with a turbo bolted on.
