If the car could be driven onto the back of a truck, I would think many car carriers that deliver cars to dealers, would love a back load to Sydney, after dropping new cars to the dealers. However many of them would not be interested if the car is not drivable. Before we got our 1990 RRC, I was thinking of buying a RRC rolling chasis from Hornsby [I saw it on e-bay] and get it up here near the QLD border and priced the cost. A local Lismore Car Carrier would not touch the job as it was not drivable [no motor or gearbox, but other wise complete] but gave me the phone number of another Lismore firm who go to Sydney once a week, and they said they could do this as a back load, from Hornsby to north of Nimbin, for $500--, as long as I was willing to wait a couple of weeks untill they had the space on the truck. But did not go ahead with this as we were offered the 1990 RR for the right pricebefore we contacted the e-bay seller. I suggest you could find the same sort of deal for much less money down near ACT/Sydney if you ask around.
