Agree with those who have said "Give direct."
McHappy Day is a con. One dollar from each burger still leaves a good profit. They get publicity, free advertising and a greater turnover on the day.
No loss on their part.
Giving assistance directly by financing Ronald Mcdonald House is good but even that helps their corporate image.
Real giving is done in secret.
