Hi Guys , Now i know a lot of you are against the junk food thingy . But i think this saturday would be the best reason to break that diet just for 1 lunch or dinner. Buy a big mac and help out the royal childrens hospital . Just think of all the kids they have helped back to good health and the thousands of kids that go through the doors every year that need that medicine or operations . So please be a junk food junkie for one of them 2 meals and help out . I'm glad we have not had to use the hospital but i'm glad that the hospital is there incase something does go wrong ( knock on wood ) .
we donate every year to the childrens hospital
they put us up for awhile with a sick child, pity they couldn't help in the end
the efforts of these people are simply unbelievable .............
R.I.P. Daniel truly missed young fellow![]()

Damn... when I read that I thought you meant I could buy the food chain as they were collapsing![]()
In all seriousness I'll remember that if I'm hungry on Saturday
Another good reason is they are rolling out free WIFI across Australia. That's handy when you are travelling.![]()

$1 from every Happy Meal sold on the day goes to the Childrens Hospital apparently ....
but as said, if people genuinely want to help why not just send the money they would have spent on junk food directly to the Childrens Hospital ( or charity of choice ) ...not just for one day but forever ....
This has a double effect ...it also helps reduce the load on hospitals through various diseases ( like diabetes and heart disease ) caused by eating too much junk food.
I will do both... I LOVE MCDONALDS!

2.4" of Pure FURY!!!
I donate at least 38 hours per week to the Children's Hospital including half the tax benefit of my salary package, as well as my commitment and various other "donations" in money and kind. So do I still have the eat Maccas?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Ultimately as a country we are a selfish bunch.....tens of millions upon millions can be spent on one day at the Melbourne Cup, yet to help out a hospital people have to eat Macca's. Dont get me wrong, if there is one thing good about Macca's it is the work they do with Mcdonald House. And yes we do donate to various charities and do not bet on Melbourne Cup day,
Regards
Stevo
i wouldn't go to maccas just to donate $1 per happy meal as the upfront cost would be $20
megs volunters to do door knock appear, red cross, cystic fibrous and one other.....the crap she gets when some people answer the door is nearly unbelieveable....shes pretty cool about it, all people need to say is sorry i cannot donate today or i choose not to donate..
