    Hey was the story about NASA spending millions to develop a pen that worked in space, but the Russians simply took a pencil true? Or a popular myth?

    lets get something straight here...... stereotype has it that women use knives as screwdrivers, shoes as hammers, etc, and NASA lets a female astronaut perform complex maintenance on a multimillion dollar piece of machinery?

    It would probably be true that the Russians used a pencil, after all it is easier to rewrite history you just need an eraser.
