Can you send me a photo of the Ransomes, I may be able to find you a buyer if it's close to the right model.
Im not sure what the model number is but does it have a kickstart and Villiers engine?

I'll give you $50 for the rattly old motorbike !
I am heavily involved in the Historic Motor Cycle hobby. The James is not worth a lot. They are not a sought after bike. None of the little economy commuters are. Curiosities really. No performance to speak of. Unless it is a very tidy complete original that can be got running and rideable easily I would say $1000 absolute tops and that only if you can find a James fancier. If it needs a full restoration then the restoration cost will be far in excess of its value when finished.
