Your a better man than me. Bussy.

I drove a coach for one day and told the boss I'd rather drive livestock trucks, as the passengers have better manners and are more intelligent.

Drove trucks for years with a smile on my face, best job ever.

Well, I got it no problems, got 2 questions wrong on the written test (allowed 6 wrong) and they were just because they were (IMO) very badly worded, and got 90% on the driving test.
    Woo Hooo

I now now officially have a Heavy Rigid!!!!

    Congratulations

Some advice thou. It only took one guy from ***** roads to give you the endorsement there are 2000 plus coppers and vicroads dudes out there that want to take it back.

Remember they will crucify you if you get caught doing something wrong or if you have a accident

No worries bussey, I know that driving heavy vehicles is a different story to just driving cars everyday.

Congratulations on crossing to the other side of the fence. As of now not only are you the proud holder of a Heavy Rigid licence, but you have also suddenly become the enemy of the general public, the press, The Transport Dept, The Police Force, motorists, motor cyclists, housewives, greenies and ecologists in general. No longer can you safely drive from Perth to Brisbane in one go as you could in a car, no longer does the .05 rule pertain to you (you are now 0.0), no longer can you keep loading the back of your vehicle or trailer till the springs sag, no longer can you park your vehicle for more than 2 hours at the kerb in a residential area, no longer can you drive along the oh so many city residential streets with weight limits (unless you are driving a 15 to plus bus, garbage truck, fire truck or some other official overweight vehicle!) nor can you fit under many of the awnings/bridges that abound in suburbia, or negotiate a lot of the smaller roundabouts safely and legally, you will also note how many of the road signs block your vision at an intersection, and the list goes on and on..... but as I mentioned earlier, congratulations on attaining the first step in what can become a very rewarding pastime. Without truckies Australia would definitely grind to a halt.
All the best in your chosen career.
    Regards
    Glen

Is that your personal ego talking?

Although, it's nice to meet a guy with a heavy rigid at times.

    Con-grat-u-lations and cel-e-brations!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
