    waeco/mobicool recall

    There is a recall notice in todays paper for the Waeco CA-35-12240PB37 and Mobicool A-35-12240PB37 portibale absorbtion coolers.
    The fault.The gas inlet pipe thread could be possibly faulty,wich may,in extreme cases cause a gas leak and potential fire.If a fire occurs unchecked,internal pressure may cause refrigeration pipes to burst.
    Units sold feb 2006 to end aug 2008.
    Not effected are serial no ranges 05001945 to 05002000 and 06002161 to 06002229

    From the way it reads it must be a 3 way type fridge.Sounds like its the LPG fitting thats faulty.
