I hate the way that even in the middle of multi system failure period it has a good day and everything is forgotten. Even the guy at the servo asked me today when it wouldn't start (CKP sensor) was I over it yet and I explained the incurable disease status we suffer from.

The crappy little 8mm bolts that hold the alternator on my old 200 Tdi which broke three times. I drilled it out and put one long high tensile bolt through - cured that problem

Today it was the hose clamp holding the angle pipe onto the turbo outlet - it went pop hiss on the highway as it disappeared and I had to limp into town with no boost and find a new one!
