I hate locking wheel nuts - especially when Mr Land Rover tightens them with a rattle gun. I don't use them any more - they are a pain. So at least you be set free soon!
Ebayed some wheel nuts from Bundalene to replace my Lock nuts on the D2. Three came off easy, as did the one holding the spare.... but the lock nut spanner was showing signs of stress.. Then on Nut Number 5!
And SO, I have one remaining Lock nut, no spanner until land Rover gets me one Tomorrow and am hoping not to get a flat on LHS front tyre.....
Be glad to see the end of them!
Ian

There are fifteen diffferent types for the D2- Mine is an "I', and I ordered one for $23 and was going to undo the last nut and stick it on Ebay but I think i will keep it and use it to lock the Spare on. The nut doesn't have to be too tight and I can use Mulit grips if I need to get it off.
Do people steal landy Alloys anyway?
I have never heard of it, but then again they are worth $150 a pop.
