lol! classify "involuntarily" whose right foot is up or down? the driver's? or someone sitting behind a desk that created the law? or some poor copper enforcing the law? It's always voluntary mate...

Blame the law makers for being unjust, but it remains the law until changed - live with it or move.

PS - my missus got done for 21km over 2 weeks back... ouch...

i dont think that is the point. I occasionaly travel over the speed limit, but if i get caught i take the blame and not try and find some excuse as to why i shouldnt get punished for breaking the law

Have to say, Tombie is right, they are voluntary, I've lost my licence 6 times, all for being a hoon, all these offences I have committed and none were so lame as 6km/h over the limit, NEVER had an infringement from a camera, fixed or mobile, these are voluntary actions, to speed past the car on the side of the road

Coppers on the other hand, don;t charge you for these lowly speeds, more like 10km+

BUT, Camera ARE revunue raisers, they place them in 4 lane, slowly descending, industrial roadways, NOT where they belong i.e., school zones, built up residential housing areas, hospital/medical access, commercial centres, they'e are always where people can inadvertantly speed

Haven't had an infringement in over 3 years now..........except for one Unreg, when I had a permit, didn;t like when I told him he was a sphincter

That'd almost divide down to losing your licence once each year you've been licenced.

All is not well in the Garden State.

That is why their Number Plates read..."Victoria! On the move...........to Queensland"

I'm a wee bit smarter at picking destinations now and generally don't drive fast cars, because I still LOVE being a nutter
