Had a good view of it at the Dog Club X-mas breakup at Morayfield Qld,7.00pm-9.00pm, crystal clear, no smog :) beautifull sight, I don't think I will be around in 2036 to see the next one;)

Digi camera wouldn't work, so from here, it looks something like this:

Cloud cleared somewhat and I got to see it through light cloud just above the trees. Even under these conditions it was pretty impressive - the pictures do not do it justice.

I spotted it around 10pm whilst in the header - would have liked to have had my camera and tripod.
