Yes I droped out of year 11.
If I passed School, with better marks, I would have gotten a better job.

<<thread drift>>
I notice a common theme in Australian Politics. Diversions, Teachers and Nurses.
Whenever something important occurs in the news whether it be a recession, tax changes, government stuff up; someone throws up the "smoke screen".
I recall when GST was introduced in 2000 that the debate in the news was about introducing 2 shifts at school 7am starts 7pm finish. "Think of the efficiencies!"
The front 6 pages of the Hearld-Sun were taken up with polls about shift working schools and how stupid this idea was. (Page 7 GST starts next month!)
Children Overboard Affair - out came the diversionay politics about Nurses.
OK bit of a conspiracy theorist but maybe it's just a diversion from the IMPORTANT stuff!
No one will ban red pens! They're just friggin' with your brain!.
<<ok back to the debate>>
Here in the UK we have gone through the red pen debate in education and for the most part teachers use green pens!
I am lucky and as I only teach ICT I tend just to chose a different font on the kid's work.
BUT THEY KNOW THEY ARE IN SERIOUS BIFF IF I HIT CAPS LOCK:D
B
Banning red pens, what a joke!
Cheers!
