    Am back

Am back in Sydney. Not feeling a happy bunny really.

This trip is just about over now, apart from getting things clean(ish) and sorting shipping back to UK.

Done over 25,000 miles and apart from some hiccups the 110 performed well.

Aus is a fantastic country and have pencilled in a return trip in 2010. Might be even sooner if A$ goes down against £ even more! Met some great people on this trip as well. Many high points, a few low ones (like now)

Think I might be a bit grumpy when get back to UK after being used to 30+C going into sub zero temperatures. Hope someone comes to airport with warm weather gear

    Regards

Typical Aussie, I said 25,000 miles not these new fangled units. 25,000 miles = about 40,000 Aussie units

Yep you will probably get me continuing to witter on from the old mother country!

Yep I'll be there at 6.30 in the morning complete with warm clothes and then just time to pop in home for a shower and what not before setting off to Heathrow to pick up the other of my wanderers - my son (and brand new daughter in law) get back early on Sunday morning. So the first evening back with Bren will be in a hotel rather than curled up in front of the fire keeping him warm.

It will be good to have my grumpy old man back even if the heating bills rocket for a while

    I AM NOT OLD EITHER!

Just make sure that the thermostat is turned up and that the wood basket is full or there will be trouble!

You are older than me so I entitled to call you old.

As for logs, sorry the logman has let me down, you will just have to pretend you are in a National Park and carry your own wood in
