    plainly and simply, for the size of the market and thier current sales expectations, it's economic suicide to jump through all the hoops to import a model where you will sell only a handfull of cars each year

    the company i work for has dropped one brand from its profile because in the space of 9 months, we've sold 10 units..... such low volumes simply arent economically viable

    go for a drive around toorak and surrounding areas there are a lot of range rover sport and vogue's going around you see more of them than you do the x5 bmw's and similar

    Strange thing is that when LR had 90's they struggled to sell them off the lot. Years later they are sought after

    They weren't much cheaper than 110s when new, hence the trouble selling them.
