Thread: OK show us your shed!!!!

you could make it into a manger, but that would be a waste.

I bought the kit for this shed almost 2 years ago. The builder of our house started just after the shed was delivered and wouldn't allow me to construct while the site was under his control.

I've finally put it up and here is the proof. Was certified a couple of weeks ago.

Pretty excited to have my new 'shed' finished and just about to have the lights and electrics hooked up on the weekend.
Need to finish the mezzanine floor and start moving in... This for me is pretty much my dream garage, glad it's come to fruition!!!

Next will be a 2 post hoist and I can hopefully start finishing all of my projects.

I'll install custom tyre racks and nice shelving as well. I think I won't go for open shelves, instead get some metal cabinets which will hide the mess.

What's your shed setup if you can share it...looking for ideas how I can maybe improve the fit out of this

Thats beautiful mate - I just bought an old shed back to life - fixed the leaking roof - shelves running down either side and room for Mutley in the middle of it all. Door to hang as it was too heavy for the old wood frame so I've bolted on some good solid box section. I'm just digging a trench to take power from a Bore pump and then I'll have light! I might just put some grey metal on the floor - at the moment its just dirt. Cant tell you what its like being able to walk into a dry shed without falling over something and having all my tools organised. I just sat there staring at it for 10 minutes the other day.Enjoy.

This is a pic of Me Shed, as you can see she's pretty rough.
Lost many small nuts and bolts on the blue metal floor and also skinned me knees and elbows getting down there.
But she's home.

I use old carpet. Find it at the dump or ask carpet installers for old stuff.
Easy to lie on and stops old bolts and nuts etc getting lost.

Carpet is always a winner - not lying on cold concrete in winter under the car, no stains from oil drips...

Well I just found a new problem with the shedding I have .... There is a ****ty old 6m x 6m garage, that's had the posts chopped down so it's low (the rangie won't even fit in it), there's a 10m x 6m with a tilta door .... tilta-doors massively restrict access .... there's a 10m x 7M carport with 3bays .... and a 12m x 7m garage with roller doors..... Well I just bought an old full sized caravan and have just measured everything around the place. I'm a good 30cm to low to fit the caravan in anywhere to work on it .... Even if I strip down some 13" wheels and fit too it ... I'll still be 20cm short

How do you guys get around height issues? I was going to re-seal the caravan, but I can't do that out in the open!......... I guess it's an excuse to build another carport ... I just need the building materials to do it.
