Cut and sleeve the posts to achieve some more height. Have done this on a couple of carports over access driveways. Owners go out and buy 4x4's, then have to park in the street until we can fix the prob. If you have (or can get hold of) the paperwork/engineering for your carport, it should show what the max height is for that design of carport.Quote:

The rangie has a 2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift with 35" Tyres and it fits fine. I can even fit my LC troopy in there and it has a 3" lift and 33" tyres.

Hi there all
One thing I have noticed with this thread - majority of us have more than one Land Rover.................this is why our sheds get extended.......
Maybe we should have a thread of what we have within our sheds....and what we collect apart from Land Rovers.

This section will be the workshop and a roller door is going on the front. To the right are 4 bloodbox sized machinery bays. :D The first one needs rebuilding - as you can see by it's absence. The other 3 I managed to save (half the shed fell in)

We have sheds of much the same vintage and construction here too, hence why I emulated a proven design. I also like having a shed with character. Flat-pack zincalume sheds are functional, but are boring and have no personality.
