    Go the spray booth

Mines been about 70% complete for the last 4years, and probably will be for the next 4

I have 3cars that I want to paint here. Time and money is the only thing that stops me. I'll just buy some cheap "mis-match" paint from the local bunnings store and paint the MDF booth prior to using it ('cos MDF is FULL of dust). Fans will be in the roof top front, vent at the back. You pressurise the booth, that way you push the dust out through any gaps and leaks in it. The front wall can be a simple sheet of builders plastic.

This what I did for the last car I painted.

    Xantia clearcoat restoration advice please.

I had a tiny little garage that I "tried" to line with builders plastic. I've probably painted 10 cars over hte last 20years.... using a booth, even a dodgy home made one will be a revelation

It's just time and money.... Hopefully I'll paint one of hte 3 cars in the next couple of years and try it out.

    seeya,
    Shane L.

Reviving this old thread. Got some sheds, old and new.

I need to build a workbench in the new shed and I'm looking for ideas. I've seen some interesting arrangements here but I thought I'd start a new thread, asking for pictures of workbenches.

Both sheds are about 10x12m but Karol has claimed the old shed as an art studio.

    The sheds:

    very nice , very jealous.

I can't help you with the bench and storage etc as I'm horribly disorganised . I have three workbenches and they always seem to be in a mess - so I build more storage and mess that up as well. I think its an illness.
    cheers,
