Toyota "timing belt replacement" coupon
In our local paper a nearby Toyota dealership puts out a coupon offering timing belt replacement on their vehicles for $220 (excludes celica and MR2).
Personally I didn't believe it so I let my neighbour with a 100 series diesel know quite a while back. He recently took his up, they did the T-belt, washed and vacuumed the entire car and charged....... $220.
I've cut another one out and my sister is due to take her 170k original belt corolla up.
Honestly, how the hell can they possibly do a timing belt replacement on a Land Cruiser using genuine parts AND clean the whole thing for $220?
Personally I'm dark on it, 100k intervals and its $220!!

I agree. and it does suck for us.
BUT after recently driving a Cruiser Troopy for several days and a few hundred kms I can confidently say they can have their cheap timing and they can keep driving there Toyotas.
Just a shame we can't even gte the parts for that price
