    Australian Cricket Team Crisis

As a concerned cricket fan, has anyone got a solution or two for our cricket team

    I think I have one...import new players

Howzat! In a quick declaration, China embraces cricket - Cricket - Sport

But seriously though folks...what the hell are we going to do about our team?

    1. Retain Hayden. He'll come good.
    2. Hours upon hours of bowling practice for the bowlers.
    3. Scrutinise Pontings Captaincy decisions and retrain if necessary.
    3. Reduce 20/20 and ODI commitments until team come good at and regain hunger for tests.
    4. Review selectors (Hilditch?)

    Cheers

    Don't you mean..

    1. Dump Hayden
    2. Batting practice for the batsman (bowlers don't need any)
    3. Appoint Clarke as captain
    4. Have separate 20/20, 50/50 and test teams
    5. Fresh and adventurous selectors.
    6. Disallow any test cricket players to partisipate in advertising promotions such as Ford and KFC.

    give em time to rebuild

bring some young blood in and back i.e. give em 3 or 4 tests to settle in, gain experience, constant dropping and promoting on a test by test basic won't work

matt tha bat to score a double century in sydney....than symonds won't need to bat

remain calm and accept that you can lose on the odd occasion - it is a sport, and one of the teams have to lose eventually.
I am glad the SA's are winning for a change (being an import), but leave your team alone, they are just going through a phase and will come good again.

They'd never ever do this. I was listening to the radio a while back with lots of the sports represantitives on and they said it was the way they fund their retirement as they don't make enough to do so just by playing sport. I'm pretty sure that's true. I don't know how I'd ever survive on a proffessional sports persons wage I'd be buying new vehicles every year.

Hayden will know when it's time to retire ... he'll either make the decision himself or they may possibly decide to force him into retirement before the Sydney round.

It's no good the bowlers spending hours practising if the main bowlers are lame! Be interesting to see if Lee still bowls today. As for Symmonds ... holy crap! If anything, he'll be dropped for the Sydney match.
