Well there you go. Answers a question been wondering about for a bit. Down here and since I have finally got one...I never realised there were sooooo many Disco's on the road around this part of Melbourne. Most all of them just look right through you. Even my kids wave and get nothing.
Shame, they are pretty good at picking out the different models and get excited when they see the exact same colour and model. Wave and get nothing back. It gets depressing to the point I wonder if this mob are just all snobs.
Oh well, keep doin the finger thing, might get a response one day:(
A couple of waves over the weekend:) ...and some ignorals  on a trip to Katoomba.
I was disappointed that a +2007 RFS Defender on a fund raiser with all the markings ignored my waves...I was standing on the footpath at the time.
In 30 years of touring by motorcycle I could count the number of bikes on one hand that didn't give an acknowledgment (raised V is the most common from the throttle hand) when passed on the road.
After a week of driving round Perth I've had 1 Landy wave. Hardly encouraging given the number of LR's I've encountered.
I'm starting to think half the problem is "lack of education" for want of a better term.
Maybe a cheap "promo pack" of a sticker and A4 printed page extolling the virtues of aurlo.com and the bond of LR owners could be produced and sold so those so inclined could stick the promo pack under windscreen wipers, hand em out at lights when you see an unmarked Landy etc. Silly thinking perhaps .. or is it?
I was driving Basil, my '58 series II the other day. Disco coming in the opposite direction - I waved - zip, nada, nothing...!
I've had returned waves from 2 discos in the last week. Always good to get a wave.
