    There are a lot of very sensitive and defensive 4WD owners out there! So many of them can have a dig but cant take one. Good for baiting really.

    Must admit I bit on this comment on a UK 4 x 4 site


    I know the Landy stuff can be pretty unreliable, but then I'm a serial tinkerer

    What BS. If you tinker with ANY motor it will be unreliable! Maintain and drive a LR properly then they are reliable as any other vehicle.

    OL is the half tame Aus version of Pirate 4x4 from the States. That was apparently how it was set up and there are certainly no apologies from the founders.

    I have enjoyed it for quite a while because there is some really good innovation and problem solving at times. I don't think it hurts to see what the wider 4wd community think about issues, even if some of them are full tilt rednecks. Some of it is very intelligent and hilarious.
