Well, the birthday is over. I'm home from work and about to open a bottle of 1999 Charles Cimicky The Heritage Reserve Shiraz from the case that a friend sent to me. I won't recommend it to any of you because that would leave less on the market for me!

To be frank, I think it's better than the Penfolds Grange I had on my 60th birthday. It is a fantastic, err, awful wine! :mad:

I could have gone last year, Tim.

I had planned to retire on 30th June 2009 but my super has taken a beating.

I'm going on long service leave from 15 Feb through to 30th June.

Less than a month to go! :D

Then we are off to SA and WA (on the Indian Pacific), back to SA (again on the train), then Vic before heading home.

Sorry I missed it :(
