Not a lot I can add to this one. As one of the fire investigators I have to keep things pretty close to the chest.
Having said that though I'm nuckin fackered after two days in a row walking all fire edges numerous times to determine the point (or at least area) of origin. More than likely this one will require a court attendance, although luckily I'm not the lead RFS investigator on this one.
Weather conditions were VERY kind to us and there was no way the fire posed any threat to houses this time (rain over the area the previous night) some of the fires self extinguised but the remainder were significant distances from any of the roads/tracks so we made the most of air support.
