RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
I'm talking enclosed wood burner, not open fire. At $30.00 for a 9kg fill over here, not many use LPG for their main form of heating. Having the gas station price at $1.20 a litre for automotive gas doesn't make it too economic either. No one is in a hurry to convert their cars to LPG these days.

A bit risky LPG burners usually have a smaller flue than the old chimney, and as they are designed to put more heat out and less up the flue. they can quite easily stall, this is made worse that the LPG produces quite a bit of H20 making the gases in the flue heavier.
A 2kw LPG burner will lift the CO2 content in an average 10m X 10m room to toxic levels with in about 12 mints.
This is a joke yeah?....Ive never heard or read a bigger load of crap in my life.
You have more chance of dying from heat exhaustion on a 35deg night than from Oxygen deprivation.
The amount of 02 that a fan motor could possibly convert (to.........geez I don't know, it wouldn't be C02.....what would it be?) would be minuscule in comparison to the cubic area of the room.
I think there may be other things causing the deaths other than the fan motors.
There are a few box fans to watch out for as they can catch fire.
Edit:
I will also be dragged kicking and screaming if they wanted to take our wood heater away, my wife gets asthma from the reverse cycle aircon due to the dust getting blown around and the same with gas heating but we have no fan on our wood heater and it heats the whole house well and diesnt give her asthma.
If the neibours dont like it they can suck an egg, it only smokes when I first light it or if I put a bit of greenish wood in it not realising it and I asked them all 4 houses each way before I had it fitted if they would mind.
I get my wood for free so you can beat that for cost effectivness.

LOL wrong end of the stick,
Its not about the Fan motors producing CO2 (maybe some O3) its about extraction Fans lowering the internal air pressure to the point where co2 produced by things like pilot lights and heaters etc cant evacuate though there flues. Another thing is not all houses around the world are plumbed wired or heated like in Australia. example would be a small house say 60m2 with a bayonet gas heater ( no flue) no hot water but a small gas heater over the sink, and another over the bath yet a 3rd over the shower each with its own pilot light, possibly a gas fridge with its pilot light as well.
