Shop around, that sounds dear to me. I get custom made windscreens for trucks for less than that. Plastics would be dearer than glass in my experience.Quote:

don't forget plastic scratches when muddy and the wipers go across it a few times...
CAMS require a Lexan windscreen in those tin tops for which a laminated windscreen is not available.

If so then you can leave it out unless you din't like the dust, mud and rain getting in.
Yeah im only running it on privet property im not bothered by the dust just more the wet stuff and mud (could wear goggles) and on the over grown tracks there are a lot of branches sticking out and trees apparently :angel:Quote:

A new windscreen must only be about $200 (my freelander is only $230 fitted) so you should be able to get one from a wrecker pretty cheap - probably cheaper than buying perspex or flat laminated glass cut to shape.

Used to have a business plastic welding and making things out of perspex etc. As mentioned above you won't want to use perspex for a wind screen lexen or polycarbonate(same thing) would be better however it scratches easy and is very expensive.
