At the end of the day my insurance company will need to fight it out with her insurance company.

I still get my Disco fixed.

You can be booked by the police, though. It's considered a road-related area. You can even be booked for neg driving for an accident in a service station. I know because a person claimed I backed my bus into them at a servo and the police came to inspect it. Fortunately, I had (a) documentary proof I hadn't fuelled up that day, (b) the pump I was supposed to be using wasn't a diesel pump, (c) it was the night before my son's funeral so I wasn't driving anywhere, and (d) there were no marks on the bus.

Some shopping centres sign their carparks over to councils for $1 per year then they can enforce parking and road rules in the carpark just as if it was normal road. Also means councils get to raise money from fines with out the upkeep of the carpark.

    Get quotes
    1. Reinstated to pre-incident condition.
    2. Repairs as per your preference.
Deduct 2 from 1, if you don't get a negative number, go ahead with the claim. If you get a negative number you will have to make up that amount.

As you were not at fault, you present a claim for damages to the other driver, who passes it to their insce co. Their assessor will adjudicate the claim with your input, or you threaten to take the driver to court for your damages. Ignore other party insce co request for your insce coy. Say you don't have one. Expect Qld law is same as NSW.

    Doc
Hondas are fragile. Surprised she didn't need to be towed away. I gave a Honda sedan a quite gentle tap with a White Road Boss once. Its four doors sprung open and could not be closed, the front and rear glass fell out, and the car assumed the stance of a greyhound dog evacuating on your nature strip.

    To start the debate....

    Should I
    1. Modify the grill etc... and put on a ARB Sahara Bar

    2. Get a Standard ARB winch Bar

    or

    3. Get a TJM Winch Bar

Why would you need to modify the grill for the sahara bar?
