    No, Ho. I was bobtail. Still, there was almost 8 tonnes of prime mover. Happened at the corner of Logan Road and Deshon Street. The turkey overtook me from the left side whilst I was slowing for the right turn arrow into Deshon Street, pulled in front of me into the right turn only lane just as the light turned yellow. He then bunged on a panic stop. I almost not quite stopped in time and gave the ricegrinder a gentle nudge in the tail and punted him across the intersection. Once the wallopers got the story from witnesses in the now gone servo they changed from charging me with neg. driving to charging him.

    Gday,

    I have jsut been through all this with regards to a Hilux ute that backed into my gf's new lancer. The insurance company covers a cost to restore the vehicle to its original form, including labour, and new parts. If you wish for something different, see your repairer for a quote of the standard repair, and what you want done. You pay the difference. It may work in your favour if the TJM/ARB bars are the same price and the genuine LR ones.

    My gf will have an evo xtreme bonnet soon, thanks to the insurance company. It was not alot more, so we paid the difference. Just take your pick of repairers, before they do.

    I'd go ARB winch bar over TJM one. ARB bars have a better design IMO.
