There has been a delivery of hay from Taree NSW to the Beechworth area...26 semi trailers.....as this particular fire is still burning it has been unloaded and the waiting game is now on.

I have had one offer of assistance from one of the other members here in Brisbane so if any others are willing to take some time off and come down with us then please PM me. I am happy to act as a coordinator for those around here in Brisbane. Don't know exactly when but I am sure that Evan will let us know when and where we would be most useful and then we need to move.

    Hi Tim and evryone!

    Be a part of history!

The Gippsland 4WD coordinator needs at least (4) 4WDs with trailers and at least (6) 4WDs without trailers this coming weekend to work in Labertouche North with fencing replacement. As a matter of interest they are trying to complete around 330km as soon as possible to prevent wandering stock. Camping facilities are being made available for you in the area of work. If you have pliers, fence strainers etc bring them too.

They are meeting our volunteers at 9-00am on Saturday. Dave the coordinator over there understands that most folk will go for just a day as the LROCV 4WD Show is on the next day at Wandin.

If you are interested in helping for one or both days please email me at evan@tektrek.com.au for further details.

    Kind regards,

    Evan Davidson
    CERG Coordinator

    Evan,

I've sent you an e-mail regarding this weekend, I'm in and can bring my trailer.

Evan - do you know the dimensions of these water tanks - will they fit in a 6x4 trailer? Just planning ahead...

I'm not expecting much more within the week. I think the real work is still a little while away.
