4WD TV did a winch comparo with the warn, superwinch & tigerz11. They gave it a really good review. Not the fastest out there but pulled well. They said it was excellent value for $.

I have one of these (12000lb version) and I can't recomend it any higher. I have used it over a dozen times since I bought it 5 months ago (5 times on one trip) and it had been fantastic. My only grpie is that the clutch is, like 4WDtv menioned, a bit on the light side but if you're not too rough with it it should last for a few years and at $599 for the wire rope version it's hard to beat.

gotcha!! nice pics could be the go then, seems a more than reasonable price particularly with the dyneema, never did like wire splinters.

Apparently, the Tigerz11 is advertised as such so it's probably the same winch. The ironman one is a but too exxy for what it is.

The 3 year warranty and parts backup were good selling points but I just bought it because it was cheap and the 4WDtv test was enough to convince me that it couldn't be such a bad thing.

I got one but am yet to use it, the guy selling them had a garage full of them, about 120 I'd say, and looking at his feedback he sells heaps- over 600 when I bought mine.
They were sold by a group of 4WD enthusiasts before the current seller.
Apparantly the Taxman is auditing these type of Ebay sellers for income tax & GST etc, also for business taxes if over a certain $ value. I paid cash
So the deal might not last forever.
