Who says LPG cylinders explode??
I saw this on a desk at work today. Did'nt ask questions as I was off to a meeting. It was a 15kg Aluminium forklift cylinder retrieved from the fire zone.

Looks like the gas vented off like it was supposed to and then the cylinder melted.
I don't know how many hysterical calls I've heard since the fires, for LPG cylinders to be removed from fire prone areas.
Absolute hysterical twaddle!

NRMA did tests years ago and found petrol tanks explode easier than LPG,
LPG should burn off. Have had 3 LPG cars and people were always telling me how dangerous they are.

Fire couldn't have been that hot ... It'd still got the isolation tag on it
