Land Rover wave

I just got my first landy in Aus, I'm a pom and always had one back home, so off I go on a little drive not knowing if landy drivers over here had the wave thing going.

I was so stoked when 10k's down the road I'd collected three waves

(gave out two 'cause I was too shocked

by the first to respond, 'who me?') - really made my day. Think I'll remember that journey for a long time.

So yes, wave early, wave often - spread the love a little and keep a bit of class around the marque. Can't say I get waved at whilst driving the works toyota.

You're lucky - I waved to two Discos on Sunday - one ignored me and the other gave a big wave back, so my strike rate was 50%. Maybe I should lean out the window and do a big windmill wave and point a lot.

I waved at a Defender yesterday on my way home from camping, the Toyota behind him waved back

OK does this mean,

1. ) He’s blind.

2. ) Wishes he too had an LR.

3. ) Ex LR owner and old habits die hard.

4. ) Being a Toyota driver, he is just happy that any body would bother to wave at him.
