Some advice for anyone who may be interested:
The two limitations of this Microcat install is the need for a dongle (small hardware security device attached to the PC) and that they are time limited - you need to have a PC date inside the that set in the software.
Luckily there is no need to wait for the "Crack" mentioned above.
Dongle Limitation - on the disk you will find a folder called "-ó-¦-¦-+-ì-é-¦-+" it contains a file called MG16.dll, simple copy this into both windows/system32 directory and the directory Microcat is installed in (default is C:\MCLRE) overwriting the copies of that file in each of those folders..
That sorts the dongle problem..
Now for the time issue...
Take a look in c:\MCLE\McIndex\LRE directory you will find a file called Dset.daa. Open it with notepad you will see it's simply a number 200901. Change this to a year later.. ie 201001 and save. ( make sure you don't change the file name or extension)
You will find another copy of this file in the directory you saved the data. ( default c:\LRE_Data, treat this file in the same way.
You now have another year before you may want to edit the Dset.daa files again..
Enjoy......
