Sure is Sheila. It's come a fair way that small garden, and as you could imagine it cops a hiding on New Years Eve! Did you know they have a Wollemi Pine down there?
Is that the Wollemi Pine in the centre?
We've been thinking of planting one here - do you think it would survive in our clay-ish soil and frosty winter mornings? (maybe we should start a new topic!)
Thanks, Sheila
The wollemi at the terminal is caged off to the public and a bit closer to the museum. In the roundabout centre is a Magnolia Little gem. You could always use some gypsum in your soil but the frost in the 1st couple of years after planting would be a slight worry.
What a beautiful photo Bundalene! Ziggy & Zelda would love to get stuck into that tree! :D
Geez Pete, you are a talented fellow! The goats would love your display ... when I take them on walks every so often up the street, they love getting stuck into some of the bushes, roses are their favourites, yum! :D
Thanks Panda - you're too kind! Careful of what you pick in the city though, gardens can require more attention in high density areas & you won't be told if they've been sprayed with pest killer or whatever.
