Sorry to revive this ancient thread but I am too am an Ex Stumper ... didn't get out on any runs sadly as my truck was in rebuild mode at the time. Irek was very kind to gift me a couple of U bolts as I snapped mine when my IIa bottomed out with a heavy load!
Thanks Irek ... I remember that was around the time when you had just bought the Freelander and you and your wife just did the Cape trip. It was indeed Murray who had the white Landy with the Holden motor ... I was always visiting his site because I had a Holden red 186 in my IIa . He had an amazing site with a ton of specs, diagrams and tutorials.
I also remember meeting up with Wenty a couple of times ... he helped me trailer a tub down from Colo when Hilton P was still in the game. Anyway, enough of the trip down memory lane. I sold my little IIa shorty and have just bought an dual fuel, dual cab tray back conversion 1985 County.
Great to see some Stumpers still about ... and Richard ... how is Yack treating you these days? We never did get around to swapping those rims!
Best, Simon.

Ex Stumper
Hey guys, Max here. I'm a couple of years late, but Good to see you're all around.
Julia the series III now sports a leopard skin paint job.
I'm about to sell her as we're having a baby. I'm looking for a forum to post a for sale post.
Those were fun times in the Series Vehicles. Especially Muddy Jackson's Lane out at Emu Plains
