First one that's deserved it. He did specify a Vogue when he came over here for Top Gear.

    not only pedro either..................

Jeremy has finally got it right, well sort of. One of the greatest 4x4s around bar the Defender. The Rangies are often underated and late models seldom used offroad, which is a pity. The only thing that lets them down is some of the technical glitches. Would love to own one.

    Oops you saw that then.
Drool every time I see one, even with their flaws. But what most people dont understand is the Lexus, BMW, Volvo etc all have their flaws too. The only thing I would do is maybe get rid of the air suspension.
Oh well keep dreaming, I will be living with the Fender for some time to come.

Forget the Vogue, you have already cracked it Craig. Nirvana is a Defender. The fender is my dream car. The Rangie is nice but the Defender is a real mans car. (Gonna wish I hadn't started this thread)

I have sorta got the wife used to me driving a manual. Took a long time. Now that she is softening up I plan on getting her to "insist" I replace the old Disco with a Deefer.

It's slowly working. She saw me drooling over an old Fender in Clifton Springs recently and is now actively raising the issue of me getting myself one if I really want one. Only yesterday she stated if she wins lotto she'd buy me one.

For the benefit of the younger aulro'ians I'd like to mention today is my 33rd wedding anniversary and Rome wasn't built in a day. If you really want something you put the hard yards in and have patience !!

    Roll on my beautiful Defender.

    Regards

    Martin

Why on earth would you want to get rid of the air ride, that’s one of the Rangies best attributes
