One thing I consider essential although never using it is metal putty or similar. That stuff you knead then fill a fuel tank, radiator or window hole with and it sets like stone. It's good stuff and takes up next to no room.
This was the initial (IIRC) list that we circulated around - I do have the final one but it's somewhere in my mail backups and I'm not sure where at the moment.
