Chucaro;
I'd go for a comprehensive Recovery Kit with , Snatch Blocks , cable , hand winch , drag Chains , Snatch Extns or a spare snatch Strap. Spare Rated shackles.
or - Long Range Tanks for long trips.
The benefits are :
- You can pick up more fuel at a better price.
- You don't get fuel smells on your clothes refuelling for jerry cans.
- You can pick up fuel at bigger stations, therefore minimised risk of dirty diesel.
- You can drive all day without stopping.
- Around town you can drive a whole month without refuelling.
Where are you going?
If sticking to bitumen or good dirt then I'd just get a compressor and tyre repair kit. Maybe the second spare if you have room.
You have spares already.
Anywhere else obviously means more stuff.
I would spend it on fuel, so you can go somewhere. But seriously recovery gear, etc. I fou go offroad.
A Decent set of tyres, and maybe a 2nd spare if your planning a trip to somewhere remote.
The idea is to have the vehicle prepared in a way that it is capable to go almost any were.
Can be ne week in Fraser island and the other in the bush or the hills.
I like to have the Defe ready to take it to spots were I can enjoy my nature photography without the need to come back home for more gear to be able to reach that spots.
