looks like its in excellent company on the ferry!
Hi
Lately, for the past year or so i have been searching the internet trying to find my old man's 50s Dodge Power Wagon (Sold around 1993 from Beaudesert) to a bloke living in Cairns (who's name i won't disclose on forums). It was originally from the Amberley air force base near Brisbane, my father bought it and restored it but replacing the trayback with a toyota army back with a canvas hood and rear folding seats, painting the truck khaki.
Here are some links to the Power Wagon after it's restoration (early 1990s).

If anyone has any information to the whereabouts of this Truck or even other Power Wagons i would be very grateful if you could pass on any information you have, it would be great to find out where she has wound up.
Thanks very much
From James

Hi
it wasn;t the average military vehicle though
it originally had a blue and white colour scheme and a wooden flat tray as it was a fire tender at amberleigh air base.
I'm not quite sure how many would have been comissioned for a fire tender but anyway it now looks more like a troop carrier with the toyota tray.
