I dont think so!
I just had my new Disco tdi 97 serviced by very reputable place in Adelaide.
Did intercooler upgrade and fuel pump tweak, all new belts and hoses and all fluids etc.
They put in twin battery system also and battery way low on water.
No new fuel filter.They said they could tell its not needed, how does that work?
No water for windscreen.
Top radiator hose ****ing out water because they re-used clamp which was stuffed.
Did not look at rear diff noise at all which was also reason I brought it there.
Timing belt was done and no problems there.
I was charged a fair bit as expected but am I just whinging or is it fair.
I send them e-mail directly already to outline my issue.
Not after refund or anything just want to know what the heck happened.
Is that unreasonable?![]()

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
I would have approached the service manager directly, face to face comunications will always achieve a better outcome than phone or email.
You need to keep your cool, maintain a low but firm voice and dont sit in the chair they offer, always remain standing.

Not after anything free, I wanted job done well first time.
I just came in from shed fixing their hose clamps and the low coolant alarm they moved and kept going off.
Oh well, I just won't go back and will stop recommending them.
I know you all know the place but will refrain from naming.
you should just list all the problems....then take it back and get THEM to fix it all.....
considering you already paid them to do it........
they will go out of their way to correct their mistakes.......
THEN........never go back there again.....
do your own servicing yourself.......this forum will guide you through everything you will ever need to know.....
