Landcruiser recovery

Was a nice truck for sure:(

It must have fallen hard on the R/H front. It's a bloody serious recovery when a crane is called in.

So he will rebuild it with another chassis and body?

All the damage was done from the tree, very lucky there was a big log behind it, otherwise it would of been blackboard "upside down, upside down":eek:

Thats just it, no matter what the vehicle IS, it was someones effort and enjoyment and many many hours of work and sweat gone into it:(:(

I'm glad they didn't have any injuries to deal with aswell:)

And yes, that RR would've loved the tow job:D

Good on the bloke from "the gap", 3 blokes, the crane and an hour or so, for $200:)

I said I'd of been happy with $400, I've recovered **** like this before with winching etc and for the crane just to plonk it on the trailer, it was a beautiful thing:D

Getting it off on the other hand:(, the steering box is all mangled in the mess, so out with the 9" to cut the steering arm so could turn the wheels, on with some snotty old split rims I brought up so it would clear the gaurds, jacking and turning, jacking and moving, towing the car in beside the tight little gap to his house:o
