Brian, the Stage 1 is sitting at home, Myles's new toy the Disco 300TDi Auto followed me up most of these tracks but he declined on this one, he was in the cabin with me till I dropped the back wheel into a rut and almost rolled, he couldn't get out quick enough then. He's put on some beef since you last seen him, I gave him a good workout getting the recovery gear out of the back, it took 2 of us to open the drivers door so I could get out and 3 of us to close the back door.Quote:

Craig, there is no Chicken track, if you look closely the tracks that are visible were made by bikes so you have to pick a line and stick to it, the one straight up the middle has shaly rock ledges that would be very hard to get over, drop down one weekend and I'll take you for a tour and you can see it first hand, it's only about 3 to 4 hours south of where you are and I have a van you could kip in overnight. I wouldn't advise anyone to try the hill though, Regards Frank.
I agree, that looks like one serious hill even in the pics which normally don't do hills justice.
Very impressive drive! would be hard to keep calm going up that thing! it looks steep even in the pics! :o
