Nothing for the Land Rover I'm afraid. Just a ton of Bunnings vouchers which are all being spent on miscellaneous small tools for our many, many domestic jobs. One of the side effects of moving house.
Alas no bar. As Scallops said, the panel beaters managed to properly repair the original bumper so there was nowhere near enough money in the quote to offset against a bullbar. They did a really good job actually so that upgrade will just have to wait a bit longer.
Yes indeedy - feel free. I've chucked $5 in to start things off so only another $1295 to go! Although after this week-end I might be looking at investing in some more aggresive tyres first. The mud was spectacularly slippery on our exit and any more control would have been welcomed even though we didn't actually get stuck.
Wow what an Easter !
Good to hear your mum and friend were OKMum's are precious things, you don't want to misplace them
Sorry to hear about your bullbarAre you coping OK? You got so close and then the rug was pulled
If you were a bit luckier you might have slid into a tree or something
CHeers,
Not quite a land expedition gone wrong - but a sea journey.... a few years ago my older brother and I spent a harrowing 7 hrs adrift on an upturned boat drifting around jervis bay only to be rescued by aerial patrol and Jervis bay coast guard in the dark (September when water is not exactly warm). 000 was phoned only to have the call fall through the cracks and be followed up 3 hours later by frantic call by my wife to local coastal police station who told her that there were tensions between 000 and police at time and that was the reason the first call had not gotten through to local constabulary. I phoned 000 management at midnight and was given a cursory reason for failure of system.
Glad your mum and companion are well.

Good to hear all OK.
You wouldn't know the crap I cop for not even going on a short walk without a backpack and gear, with raincoat, water and snacks.
Just goes to show doesn't it.
Get some muddies, or you could have just pinched the ones off scallops' rig

Very scarry
good that it turn out all OK.
One thing..
You could use the horn on the car, even if you can't hear them,
they may be-able to hear the horn and know which way home is...
I'm glad it all worked out okay! As stated, early intervention is the key. Well done mate. No Easter eggs for a while !!![]()
