Please tell Missus Sleepy that the forum has helped me avoid a trip to the service centre and an unnecessary diagnostic. It has been very reassuring and gets me out of doing the dishes, and a sip of wine or two whilst browsing the site is OK too!;)

I'll admit to being a woman passenger, I'm the one who asks directions of the local and then takes the lead to orientate the map and find our way so we can get to a site and get camp setup before wine o'clock! Would like to do a training course to get a bit more confident behind the wheel though.
Thats what i tell mrs Scarry :)
Lately she's been telling me i must be addicted to it.......she's probably right:D
I also got the blame for the son wanting a deefer.......& spending a lot of time on this site.
Although she's getting a bit curious about Ormeau ,so next time we go,we might have another helper:):)
Please go the training course Mrs Fendy
You will thoroughly enjoy it and become another happy landy lady
Cheers,
mary
Hello Mrs Fendy,
Welcome to you too :)
I have been encouraging Missus Sleepy to have a go at the Land Rover club (vic) training course - so she knows what the "little" gear stick is for :D.
Do the training course Mrs Fendy - You'll have a ball:ohyes: Also handy if Mr Fendy twists his ankle in the bush - you may have to save the day.
Nichster,
you seem to have flushed out all the girlies.
:DI would also like to go clubbing it - and also learning what lerks beneath the bonnet. I have contemplating the driving course myself and would like to increase my competence & confidence. I can zip around in my little Honda Civic but when it comes to the Landy am a little more sedate.
Would also like to put the car to the test and have heaps of fun in the process.
Am stoked to have met the woman on the site thus far; and including Paul.
Cheers!
Welcome! I am also a female Landy Driver. I got sick of fighting hubby for a drive of his car so I went and bought myself a Landy:D I absolutely love it.
