aye up mate,was on much earlier,went out playing in the truck,came across an eight leg wrecker on High Lees Ln above Hathersage trying to rescue a stranded del truck only to get stuck it's self,god knows how it had got that far out of Sheffield

My Father-in Law told me of a valley they used to drive through near Leyland (IIRC). The trucks used to wait at the top of each side, in winter, and take turns to cross the valley. Flat out in Mexican overdrive, hoping the momentum would get them up the steep, icey opposite climb. The speed limits then were 20 MPH.:o
