Just got to Rupert and Sue's our friends who live at Brake pad veiw,Burnside Ave.,Chapel En Le Frith which opposite is Ferodo's works,where the the brake pad was invented by local man Herbert Frood,were the name Ferodo is from.
We will be eating at the Pack Horse(real ale Coope and Panda!)pub,washing down Yak burgers(bred localy)with hand cut chips with a sprinkling of ground raddish.lovely,the Defender has behaved it's self up to yet,which is more than can be said of Mrs G,she got a right 'face on' because we are going to another pub,to the point where I'm now wearing a Land Rover oval shaped bruise on my passenger side cheek from her Land Rover ring which, I may hasen to ad was an xmas present from me! so I'm in the guest room at Ruperts and Mrs G in the truck for the night,er... is that the right way round,can't remember what she said. ta ta for now.
