One of my mates in Cairns has three Charlies, but then he drives a Patrol and HiLuxe too. He needs the five vehicles to have a fair chance of getting to work and back, five times a week.(only half joking)
His last purchase was a fair dinkum, found in 1962, crated WLA, the biggest drama with it is, footbrake only, hand gearshift and foot clutch. He lives on the Highway and his driveway is a steep pinch to the road and concealed by rain forrest. What happens to a bike when one foot is occupied with the brake, the other with the clutch and the machine is bought to a stop?
