Yes, remember that. Used to love going to the theatre. Have actually performed in a few plays at the Theatre group round these parts. Would you believe (try not to laugh, I know it will be difficult for you), but actually studied at the London Acadamy of Dramic Arts. Can't say I was particularly good, but didn't care, it was great fun. Something else I wish I had the time to do again. It was very difficult committing to the rehearsales twice a week, what with work, commuting, an' all ...
Was quite depressed the other night, came across my father's play, to which he won the Australian Playright of the Year in 1975. It was staged at the Opera House & was the first play in Australia to show nudity. Now I've found the script (as well as a couple of others, one of which he didn't finish when he died), would love to see it put on again.
As I said, another life, just don't have the time at present ...
Then again, if I got off this damn internet, I may find more time!
Oh well, next life I'll catch up!
