Well, it involved seeing one rather close up you see. And no, I hadn't been drinking, or doing drugs, or anything else, other than swimming. Saw it with the next door neighbours when I was 14 (the engineer friend in Bathurst I recently visited in hospital & his brother). We'd just finished swimming in the pool, and were navigating to the pool room for a few games of pool.


Funnily enough, whenever I see Dave, I always say to him "did we really see that spaceship" (remembering that despite the fact it happened so many years ago, it's still as fresh in the memory as if it happened yesterday, yet because it was so bizarre, you still sometimes wonder if it really happened) ... and he always replies something like "well, I don't know about what anybody else saw, but I definitely saw it ... "

A totally amazing night, I can tell you.

The RAF came round & we had to fill out all these forms, diagrams, size, lighting, noise, figures inside, etc.

Some weeks later, we all received a letter in the mail saying we had "imagined" it, and it never existed ... Don't quite know who they were trying to convince ...
