Speaking of showers, I have gas hot water; it require a certain volume of water to pass through it to light the gas. The trouble being that modern water saver shower heads don't allow enough water to pass through the system, to heat it. I have to have the sink tap running while I shower.https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I think you can get a dingus to lower the flow required to ignite the burner.
